Can you have your debtor arrested?

Megan Morrissette of our office recently authored a article regarding debtor’s examinations that was published in Lexington National’s quarterly newsletter. Megan helps explain how a creditor can use the legal process to gather information needed to collect a judgment. She also explains the circumstances under which a debtor may be arrested and placed in jail. Debtor’s prisons vanished long ago in this country, but debtors may still find themselves behind bars.
